Mail-in repair
Book a board in for repair.
Tell us what the equipment is and what it was doing when it failed. An RMA number comes back the same business day — then you ship.
Packing a board so it survives the trip
Most boards that arrive damaged were packed loose. Anti-static bag first — a grocery bag is not one — then enough padding that the board cannot move inside the box when you shake it. Snap off nothing, and leave the connectors attached if they come away with the board.
If a wiring harness or a display came with it and might be part of the fault, send it. Diagnosing a board without the thing it was driving sometimes means guessing.
